On my last trip to India, I got a *little* obsessed with taking video of the cows at Govardhan Ecovillage, lol. Love them!! So, here is a fun little montage of my videos… hope it makes your day a little brighter!
I just submitted some of my fav pics from Nepal in the LensCulture Portrait Contest.
The first pics were submitted as a group. They were taken in Nepal at the Kopila Valley School. The school, run by the non-profit BlinkNow, is a haven for disadvantaged children in Western Nepal. Founded by CNN Hero of the Year, Maggie Doyne, the school offers education, food, and clothing for the areas poorest children. I’ve traveled to the school numerous times to capture the school’s amazing students.
I also submitted a few of my favorite portraits for individual consideration. Check them out!
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the Supersoul Yoga 300 hour teacher training in India. The training was lead by Raghunath, a well known and loved yoga teacher and former punk rock star. The training was held at the beautiful Govardhan Eco-village run by Radhanath Swami, author of The Journey Home by Radhanath Swami. It was an amazing backdrop for a soulful teacher training. I have been practicing yoga for 17 years and have been photographing yoga for 7. I adore yoga photography. Here are a few of my favs.
On my recent trip to Mumbai, I got to participate in the annual flower festival with my friends from Supersoul Farm’s 300 hour teacher training by Raghanath Cappo. The festival was at the ISKCON temple run by the amazing Radhanath Swami. Here are a few favs.
